Pets

I have two sorts of pets, cats and fish (which get on nicely now the cats know not to put their paws in the tank; poor Lorelai fell in and i've never seen her jump so high).

My cats are named Lorelai and Rory which I have had since they were 6 months old and came from a rescue center in Birmingham. They are sisters although at times they don't get on so well (much hissing and sitting in opposite ends of the room). Sadly these days they live apart and away from me (as my landlord won't let me have them here); one is in Cornwall with my parents and the other with my fiance's mother. Both have loads of character, although Rory is a bit of a wimp and goes off for days at a time without returning.

My other pets are my fish who are great. Sadly fish do die quite a bit more often (especially when moving :<) so they don't get named, but they are loved just the same. I currently have Shelly (as she has a kind of shell as a skin), Twiggy (as he? is a twig catfish), Red (a goldfish), Plec (a very large 12" plec), Oscar (who is a really moody oscar which oddly likes sleeping on his side), and a few others. I would love to get a ray at some stage, and now I have sand in the tank (much to the amusement of Plec and Shelly who love shifting it around by sitting with their heads on the glass and swimming full pelt),I may just one of these days.
